I had the honor of being part of the ZBrush Beta Testing group, and I wanted to put together a project that shares some of the work I created during that time. It’s a collection of pieces developed while exploring new tools, features, and workflows throughout the beta.
ZBrush 2026 Beta
Hues in Motion was a collaborative piece I created with my wife. I handled the sculpting, while Kasita focused on the texturing. We used Polypaint in ZBrush as the main color pass, then brought the asset into Substance Painter to further build out the materials. The goal was to test a smoother workflow for transferring Polypaint between the two programs.
In Substance Painter, Kasita extracted masks from the Polypaint and used them to continue developing the material detail.
